Well maintained home with sea views from all rooms. Jacobsbaai has gravel roads mostly which keeps traffic at a slow pace and making it very safe for children. Jacobsbaai has a small garage sized shop “die winkeltjie” that sells necessities. The town has 2km sea frontage and activities here range from diving,hiking windsurfing and kayaking. The less adventurous can see flowers in spring which is absolutely amazing. Jacobsbaai is referred to Namaqualand by the sea. Dolphin and whale watching is on everybody’s list that visits the town.
Jacobsbaai has rocky and sandy bays, cosy beaches and an abundance of seafood. The local hotel known as Die WeskusPlek has a lovely restaurant on the rocks. Visitors can pick and choose between guest houses on the beach or more tucked away in town. It must be said that one can walk from every plot to the various beaches. The West Coast architecture is set amongst rocks, coves, sandy beaches and a blue ocean at Jacobsbaai. It creates an ambience smacking of the romance of a Greek Island – However it remains absolutely authentic WEST COAST.
